sobre mí

Mi nombre es Mont Carver y soy fotógrafa, cineasta y escritora. Estudié una licenciatura en Cine Digital y Postproducción, y actualmente estoy cursando una maestría en Fotografía Profesional, donde sigo explorando procesos alternativos, analógicos y digitales. He participado en varios festivales de cine experimental y videoarte con proyectos como "En Las Olas" (2016), "Hastío" (2019), "La Resaca del Amor" (2022), entre otros. Además, participé en una exposición colectiva con diferentes colegas en el Círculo de Bellas Artes de Madrid llamada "Excavaciones: Rastro, Huella, Resto, Mancha". Me impulsa documentar lo íntimo, lo etéreo y lo oculto. Siempre estoy buscando archivar mis obsesiones, lo que quiero redefinir, lo que temo y lo imperfecto.

My name is Mont Carver, and I’m a photographer, filmmaker, and writer. I studied a Bachelor’s degree in Digital Cinema and Postproduction, and right now I'm in a Master’s degree in Professional Photography, where I continue to explore alternative, analog, and digital processes. I have participated in various experimental film and video art festivals with projects such as “En Las Olas” (2016), “Hastío” (2019), “La Resaca del Amor” (2022), among others. Additionally, I participated in a group exhibition with different colleagues at the Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid called “Excavations: Trace, Footprint, Remains, Stain”. I am driven to document the intimate, the ethereal, and the hidden. I am constantly searching to archive my obsessions, what I want to redefine what I fear, and the imperfect.
